I'm still occasionally surprised by what happens in this country.
Compared to other Southeast Asian countries, Vietnam's advertising market
still relatively new. The first foreign advertising agency received its business license
in 1998 (the government lifted the advertising ban in 1990).
This fact makes Vietnam a very interesting place right now.
Why?
Before answering that question, let's take a bird's-eye view of what's happening in the advertising world.
