"Shiodome/Shinbashi Corporate Joint Product Fair" Sake, foot baths, and mascot characters also made appearances, creating a lively atmosphere.

The "Olympic and Paralympic Economic Council" and the "Mayors' Alliance for Regional Revitalization Utilizing the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games" held the "Shiodome/Shinbashi Corporate Joint Product Fair NIPPON Market: Hot Springs & Sake Edition" at the outdoor space of Shiodome City Center in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on March 28 and 29.

The Council was established to contribute to realizing a prosperous and vibrant Japanese society through the success of events like the 2020 Tokyo Games and the 2019 Rugby World Cup, and by creating lasting legacies that leverage the momentum generated by these events. It brings together the business community, centered on Keidanren, chambers of commerce and industry, and the Japan Association of Corporate Executives. Toyota Motor Corporation President Akio Toyoda serves as Chairman, with participation from Olympic and Paralympic partner companies.

Meanwhile, the Mayors' Federation was established to seize the Tokyo Games as an excellent opportunity to showcase the appeal of each region to people worldwide. It aims to rediscover and organize the unique charms of each area, enabling motivated regions to join hands and communicate Japan's comprehensive strength. Mayor Hayato Kunisada of Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, serves as Chairman, with approximately 470 municipalities currently participating.

Chairman Kunisada, who visited the venue, stated, "With the 2020 Games approaching, we launched the Mayors' Association with the hope of revitalizing our regions. I am delighted that we could hold this event alongside a council featuring renowned companies. We aim to continue collaborating with the council and pursue various initiatives."

Shimizu Shinzo, Director and Executive Officer of All Nippon Airways (Deputy Head of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games Promotion Headquarters), stated, "This product exhibition was made possible with volunteers from our company and Fujitsu, and with the support of many companies in the Shiodome area. We look forward to continuing our joint activities with the Mayors' Alliance to revitalize regional areas." Fujitsu Managing Director Mitsutoshi Hirono (Head of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Promotion Headquarters) commented, "The council was established in January 2015 and currently has 91 participating companies, primarily sponsors. We intend to continue working with local governments and the Mayors' Alliance to energize regional areas as we approach 2020."
