Dentsu Inc. Public Relations (Dentsu PR) was awarded the "North Asia PR Consultancy of the Year" at the 2018 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards, an honor bestowed upon outstanding PR firms in Japan and South Korea.
SABRE stands for "Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation, and Engagement."
The awards are organized by The Holmes Group, an international information provider for the PR industry, and represent the PR industry award with the highest number of entries in the Asia-Pacific region. Over 1,500 entries were submitted in 2018.
The winning campaign will be re-evaluated alongside campaigns that won regional SABRE Awards in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to determine the Global SABRE Award winner.

Organizer Paul Holmes cited as reasons for the award the numerous entries, including those from Dentsu Inc., that were nominated for the awards list, and specifically the support given to initiatives challenging stereotypical roles of women in the home, such as projects by Daiwa House Industry and Procter & Gamble Japan (P&G).
Daiwa House's campaign "Nameless Chores" (Japanese title: 名もなき家事) won a Diamond SABRE in the "Research & Planning" category, while P&G's campaign "Changing Housework from a JOB to JOY" (Japanese title: 家事分担をJOBからJOYへ) won a Gold SABRE in the geographic category "Japan."
