CircleApp, a university club platform, surpasses 1,000 organizations and 10,000 users.

CircleApp, a mailing list app for student groups developed by Dentsu Inc. Youth Research Department and fully operational since April 2013, surpassed 1,000 registered groups and 10,000 registered users by December 2013. (As of January 2014: 1,091 groups, 11,347 users.)

CircleApp was developed as a management tool for university clubs, student organizations, seminars, athletic associations, etc., and is accessible via smartphone app, PC, and feature phone. Its features include "Member Directory," "Mailing List," and "Points." The "Offer Feature," which allows groups to receive activity funding by responding to requests from companies, has been utilized by numerous businesses since its release. Currently, approximately 70% of overall access comes from Tokyo, and about 60% of overall access is from iPhones, making it a media platform with a high proportion of high-sensitivity users. With its March 2014 renewal, it aims to acquire even more users.

Furthermore, among the top 20 categories of organizations registered on Circle Up, alongside staples like soccer, lacrosse, and tennis, there are also clubs focused on event planning, marketing, business management, and programming (see figure below), reflecting an awareness of students' job-hunting preparations.
