Dentsu Inc. 's "Active Learning: What About This?" Research Institute and Showa Women's University's " Institute for Contemporary Education " collaborated to launch a proactive training workshop for teachers, by teachers, known as "Saki-san," starting last December.
The goal was to create workshops that inspire immediate action upon learning. The focus is on the essential skills needed by both teachers and children, timelessly relevant: "logical thinking," "creative thinking," "critical thinking," and "dialogue." Participants gain concrete understanding of their essence and current societal demands, enabling them to proactively prepare for the future and integrate these skills into daily practice. The content is designed to engage not only teachers but also business professionals, parents, aspiring teachers, and lifelong learners.
Following the highly acclaimed VOL1 "Logical Thinking" held in December, VOL2 focuses on "Creative Thinking." We explore what constitutes the "questions without answers" essential for navigating the future. Through practical exercises and diverse approaches, we discuss what matters most when formulating and solving such questions.
All participants will receive a special bonus: the "Cognitive Traits Check Sheet (Simplified Version)" – discover your cognitive tendencies!

No Right Answers, But Wrong Ones Exist!? ~Anticipating "Questions Without Answers"~
What are "questions without answers" that cultivate the power to live in the present and future? How do you create them? What makes a question boring? What are the evaluation criteria? Teacher creativity? ...and more. While introducing "questions" and approaches to thinking developed by the Active Learning "How About This?" Research Institute, we welcome Dr. Mami Honda, known for cognitive characteristic tests, to explore these ideas together with teachers. The motto: No predetermined harmony!
