[Participants Wanted] Proactive Thinking Education Seminar - October 21

Teachers for Teachers: Proactive Training Workshop = "Saki-san". Launched collaboratively by Dentsu Inc.'s "Active Learning: What About This?" Research Institute and Showa Women's University's "Institute for Contemporary Education", this training workshop, which was held twice last year to great acclaim, will fully commence this fiscal year with support from the Mitsubishi Future Development Foundation.

Driven by the founders' passionate desire to "provide information that compels action once known!" and "avoid reactive education that flounders after-the-fact with trendy concepts handed down from above!", five new training programs have been planned for this year. The content is designed to engage not only teachers but also business professionals, parents, aspiring teachers, and lifelong learners.

Participants will hear firsthand accounts from individuals active at the forefront of various fields—perspectives rarely encountered within schools—and learn what society demands today. By working backward from real-world needs, we explore the future direction of school education. Moving forward, we will also support teachers in independently designing and implementing their own original training programs. Five sessions total. The first session is on Saturday, October 21, starting at 2:00 PM.

【Program】

Since education is the only way to stay ahead of the curve, why not become a "proactive" teacher? Dialogue

How can we swiftly detect the skills society demands and educate accordingly, rather than reacting after the fact? This training begins with a dialogue about "anticipation" itself.

Featuring Mr. Noboru Tsubaki, a contemporary artist with teaching experience in junior high and high schools; Ms. Nadezhda Kirilova, the world's top copywriter educated in six countries; Mr. Hidetoshi Kurashige, author of "Legendary Lessons Collected"; and the workshop's initiator. This opening session will involve all participants in the discussion.
