[Participants Wanted] Do! Solutions Webinar "The Challenge of LGBTQ+ Inclusive Organizations and Communication" - October 24

Do! Solutions, an information portal operated by Dentsu Inc. that solves business challenges, is recruiting participants for its webinar "Challenges in LGBTQ+ Inclusive Organizations and Communication: Latest Trends from the 2023 LGBTQ+ Survey and Case Studies," to be held on Tuesday, October 24.

Since initiating Japan's first comprehensive LGBT survey in 2012, Dentsu Inc. has accumulated data and insights for over a decade. This marks the fifth iteration of the LGBTQ+ Survey 2023, which will present its findings and showcase the latest LGBTQ+ inclusive case studies.
 
Part 1 will summarize the findings of the LGBTQ+ Survey 2023, highlighting specific needs across industries and what is required of organizations. Part 2 will feature guest speakers Hiroyuki Osawa from FamilyMart and Kento Hoshi from JobRainbow, exploring insights for LGBTQ+ inclusive organizations and communication through case studies. Part 3 will guide you through Dentsu Inc.'s solutions tailored to specific challenges and organizational phases.

Presentation of the latest results from the "LGBTQ+ Survey," conducted since 2012. We gathered insights not only on the awareness and realities of LGBTQ+ individuals but also on their expectations for various industries.

Part 2:
Introduction to LGBTQ+ Inclusive Initiatives and Case Studies

Using examples from FamilyMart and challenges related to internal work environments, we deliver key points for both outward and inward aspects in a talk session format.

Part 3
Dentsu Inc. Solution Introduction

Useful solutions will be introduced for each common concern phase.

Developed an interest in DEI while studying for a graduate degree in London and joined Dentsu Inc. Diversity Lab. Engaged in projects related to gender and sexuality, such as the "LGBTQ+ Survey," and conducts training and workshops for companies.
Co-author of 'Illustrated Pocket Guide: Essential LGBTQ+ Knowledge for Business Professionals ' (Shuwa System, 2022) and 'Japanese Perspectives vs. Global Perspectives II: Insights from the 7th World Values Survey ' (Keiso Shobo, 2022).

Hiroyuki Osawa

Joined Circle K Japan in 1997. After working in company-owned stores, served as a Supervisor (store operations guidance) before spending approximately 15 years in human resources. Responsible for attendance management, payroll, evaluations, various system revisions, recruitment, and training. During this period, experienced two management integrations and mergers with other companies in the same industry. Engaged in the practical work of integrating organizations with different systems and cultures, system consolidation, and human resource development. Later, he was responsible for brand integration operations. He has held his current position since 2019. Primarily responsible for designing and executing corporate social responsibility initiatives, he was involved in launching the " FamilyMart Kids' Cafeteria," a community engagement program utilizing store facilities, and the " FamilyMart Food Drive, " which reduces food waste and provides food support within local communities.
