The business magazine Forbes launched "BrandVoice," a sponsored article program, in 2010. It went beyond providing banner ads, allowing advertisers to publish articles directly on the website.
This year, 20% of its advertising revenue included BrandVoice elements. Next year, that figure is expected to reach 30%. (The exact percentage is unclear as BrandVoice is sold as part of an advertising package.)
Additionally, Forbes' digital advertising revenue surpassed print for the first time this year, accounting for 53%.
