The Japan Mobility Show runs through Sunday, November 5. Future "vehicles" gather in one place.
The JAPAN MOBILITY SHOW 2023 (Japan Mobility Show), hosted by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, is being held from Thursday, October 26 to Sunday, November 5 at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto Ward).
Renamed from the "46th Tokyo Motor Show" in 2019, this marks its first iteration in four years. Under the show concept of "a place for everyone to think about the future together," the latest "mobility" technologies transcending the automotive industry are being showcased. Participation has reached a record high of 475 companies, including not only automakers but also startups.

The venue displays concept models of electric vehicles (EVs) from various automakers. Additionally, it showcases a wide range of mobility solutions unprecedented in previous years, including the newly introduced specific small motorized vehicles, flying air mobility, and disaster-response drones. Numerous proposals addressing diverse needs and societal challenges like an ultra-aged society are presented, making it a place to experience future lifestyles and society.

As a "place for everyone to think about the future together," three symbolic content areas are featured. One is the "Tokyo Future Tour" in the West Exhibition Hall. It has four sections—"Life," "Emergency," "Play," and "Food"—where visitors can enjoy a future with mobility. It also offers abundant attractions, making it enjoyable as an experiential event.

The second symbolic content is the "Startup Future Factory." It serves as a platform supporting startups shaping the future of the mobility industry. Beyond showcasing startup technologies, it hosts events like "Business Meetup Events" connecting mobility companies with startups. On Saturday, November 4th, it will also host a "Pitch Contest & Awards" featuring one of Japan's largest total prize pools.

The talk events are also substantial. The third symbolic content, "Japan Future Session," features experts from various fields discussing the future of mobility across themes like sustainability and global perspectives.
Following the Tokyo Motor Show 2019, the event will also feature "Out of KidZania in JMS 2023," a collaboration with the children's vocational experience facility KidZania, creating a "town where children work." The food area is well-stocked, ensuring enjoyment for everyone from business professionals to families.
