A lighthearted interlude in the Dentsu Inc. News series, Part 4 Four-Panel Idea: "A Nice Little Target" #004 "Walking while texting...?

The "Good Camo" Planner Unit presents: Four-panel comic ideas to make your day just a little bit more fun.

The number of talents listed in the "Japan Talent Directory" is approximately 11,000. According to the 2014 population estimate, Japan's total population is approximately 127.29 million. This means roughly 1 in 11,571 people (127.29 million ÷ 11,000) is a celebrity.

This time it's a bit bold.
But when it comes to "the unlikely risk," people know it's dangerous,
they tend to think, "Well, it probably won't happen," and end up letting their guard down.
On the other hand, just as everyone rushes to buy a "hundred-million-yen lottery ticket,"
people somehow get hopeful, thinking "it might just happen."
So, to get people to stop walking while using their phones,
might be to appeal to the chance of winning rather than the danger of the act. That's this week's "slightly clever idea."
If you walk while really looking around town,
you might have a fateful encounter with someone who's totally your type.
...That's probably not gonna happen.

#002 "Sunday evenings...?"
#001 "Children's Day is...?"

Easy Prey

A unit of four planners who say they want to make the world a little more fun with the power of ideas, but might just be a bunch of ducks who love brainstorming as an escape from reality. For any encouragement, criticism, or inquiries, please contact us here ( iikamo@dentsu.co.jp ).
