Twitter has introduced "TV Conversation Targeting" in the US and UK. This allows advertisers to deliver Promoted Tweets to users who tweet about specific TV programs.
The key point is that advertisers can reach the same audience as the program's sponsors, regardless of whether they are advertising on the program itself. A self-service tool is also available for small and medium-sized advertisers.
The feature will expand to Brazil, Canada, France, Spain, and other countries.
