"Future and Art Exhibition" held at Mori Art Museum. Dentsu Inc.'s "OPEN MEALS" exhibits work.

The exhibition " Future and Art: AI, Robots, Cities, Life -- How Will Humans Live Tomorrow? " (Organized by Mori Art Museum and NHK), which explores the future through cutting-edge technology and art, will be held at the Mori Art Museum in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, from November 19, 2019, to March 29, 2020.

The exhibition is organized into five sections: "New Possibilities for the City," "Towards Neo-Metabolism Architecture," "Innovation in Lifestyle and Design," "Body Augmentation and Ethics," and "Transforming Society and Humanity," introducing over 100 projects and works. Through cutting-edge technologies like AI, biotechnology, robotics, and AR (augmented reality), and the art, design, and architecture they inspire, the exhibition invites visitors to contemplate the near-future city, environmental issues, lifestyles, and the nature of society and humanity.

The exhibition also features the concept machine and visuals for "Sushi Singularity," a work by OPEN MEALS, which advances Dentsu Inc.'s food tech project.

 
The works on display are a series based on the concept of the "Sushi Singularity Restaurant" – a hyper-futuristic sushi restaurant visualizing a world where "food" has triggered the Singularity (the concept that artificial intelligence surpassing human intelligence will bring major changes to life). The exhibition and presentation at the global festival "South by Southwest (SXSW) 2019," attracting numerous companies, creators, entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world, generated significant buzz.
OPEN MEALS aims to thoroughly research current technology, visualize and propose possible "futures of food," spark discussions to accelerate their realization, and create actual industries in partnership with collaborators.
