Dentsu Inc.'s problem-solving marketing information site, Do! Solutions, is recruiting participants for its webinar "Get the Latest Data and 75 Years of History in One Go! Learn Japan's Advertising Expenditures in 40 Minutes – The Information You Can't Afford to Miss," scheduled for Thursday, June 29.

Dentsu Inc. has published its "Japan's Advertising Expenditures" report every February since 1947, estimating advertising spending across media. Advertising expenditure serves as a "mirror reflecting the times," closely tied to media, the economy, social conditions, and consumers.

This webinar serves as an introductory session, explaining "Japan's Advertising Expenditures" in 40 minutes. Members of the Dentsu Inc. Media Innovation Lab will unravel the 75-year history of the report while also introducing the latest results for 2022.

Sō Hasegawa

After working on the development and operation of information media services at a domestic telecommunications carrier, joined Dentsu Inc. Primarily handled media planning and digital marketing before assuming current position. Interests include information behavior, media business/advertising medium development, and local media. Holds a Master's in Interdisciplinary Informatics. Certified Marketing Meister by the Japan Marketing Association. Part-time Lecturer, Faculty of Sociology, Kwansei Gakuin University.

Daisuke Nakajima

After gaining experience primarily in knowledge sharing, public relations, and PR operations, joined Dentsu Inc. Media Innovation Lab in 2023. Currently serves as a researcher broadly responsible for advertising market research and consumer media trend analysis/surveys. Personal interests include "mental health" and "color schemes." Major awards include the JAAA "Communication Grand Prix: Selected by Young Professionals in the Advertising Industry" Excellence Award.
