[Participants Wanted] Do! Solutions Webinar: "The Values of Generation Z and the Essence of 'Sustainability × Business'" - July 20

Dentsu Inc.'s problem-solving marketing information site, Do! Solutions, is recruiting participants for its webinar "What is the Generation Z Perspective that Got New Businesses Off the Ground? Generation Z Values and the Essence of 'Sustainability × Business'," to be held on Thursday, July 20.

Generation Z, which continues to attract attention for both sustainability business promotion and organizational development, is now led by those in their mid-20s. They are increasingly becoming the ones to "lead and collaborate with Generation Z both inside and outside the company."

In Part 1 of this webinar, Gen Z entrepreneur Motohito Yamauchi of Gab, who runs sustainability businesses like "Ethical Living" and "Seisou-chu," will discuss advancing sustainability business. In Part 2's panel discussion, Mr . Yamauchi and Mr. Koji Asai of NEW STANDARD will join the stage. They will discuss the theme "Sustainability Business and Gamification," sharing insights on the hurdles encountered when advancing such businesses and how to overcome them.

Moto Yamauchi, Representative Director & CEO

Born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, 2000. Currently on leave from the Department of Behavioral Informatics, Faculty of Information Science, Shizuoka University. Selected member for the 2018 Silicon Valley training program of the University of Tokyo's EDGE-NEXT Entrepreneur Development Program. 5th cohort of MAKERSUNIVERSITY. Founded Gab in 2019 with the mission to "lower the barrier to solving social issues as much as possible." Currently in its 4th year. Operates the game-like litter-picking event "Seisou-chu," Japan's largest SDGs-focused media platform "Ethical Living," and the community-based physical store "Ethical Living LAB" specializing in ethical products, permanently located on the 6th floor of Yurakucho Marui, alongside its online store. With the vision "To make Japan an ethical consumption leader," Gab has supported over 160 ethical brands and social entrepreneurs with sales, marketing, and business development.

Joined Dentsu Inc., working as a Strategic Planner on integrated planning in the marketing communications field. Later joined Accenture, participating in DX promotion projects for major domestic companies. Since October 2021, he has served as Executive Officer overseeing NEW STANDARD's Brand Design and CX divisions, comprehensively managing organizational operations and client projects. As a planner, his primary areas of involvement include marketing planning for Millennials and Gen Z, developing integrated on/off campaigns for smartphone apps and fashion companies, and executing marketing PDCA cycles.

Yurika Horie

Specialized in analysis using natural language processing for text mining. During her student years, she was a member of Dentsu Inc.'s Youth Research Department (Dentsu Wakamon). She also gained experience launching a programming school business during an internship at a mega-venture. Driven by her experience and interest in technology-driven business development, she joined Dentsu Digital Inc. After joining, worked on business concepts for automotive companies and home appliance manufacturers, service concepts for telecommunications companies, and service design. Member of "YNGpot.™," Dentsu Digital Inc.'s specialized team conducting marketing grounded in digital natives' insights and information acquisition/purchasing behaviors.

Rie Tanaka

PMO member of Dentsu Team SDGs. After the launch of Dentsu's Youth Research Department (Dentsu Wakamon) at DENTSU SOKEN INC., she was responsible for establishing Dentsu Mama Lab in Asia and various consulting projects including product development and CX. She was then seconded to the data science department of a consumer goods manufacturer, supporting the establishment of a digital marketing framework. Since 2019, at the Global Business Center, she has been responsible for sustainability trend reports in collaboration with Asia's Generation Z and Stylus, as well as ESG consulting for Japanese companies in Asia.
Since 2020, he has collaborated with DENTSU SOKEN INC. to lead international surveys including the " 5-Country Social Good Awareness Survey," " 16-Country Sustainable Lifestyle Awareness Survey, " and "Change Maker Survey (5 Cities)." He assumed his current position in 2023.
